Starting his music career early, Stefan Rein began playing classical music on the piano near the time he started school. He first encountered electronic music in 1993 in the form of Rotterdamm hardcore. After his first techno party held outdoors in Schwerin he hasn't missed one event held by the Gerberei, a founding techno club in Mecklenburg. Two years later Stefan discovered new music and made new contacts in the scene while searching through local recordstores such as Container and Easytraxx. After his first series of parties in the club “Dr. K” he got together with Ron Albrecht and Matthias Zacharias(†) to organize the homerun event series of the Thalia store in Schwerin. He could often be seen as both the manager and a regular at the Gerberei for many years. He plans to continue to play his distinctive, impulsive and powerful sounds regularly at the club. Despite his responsiblities as a father, he will remain true to the techno movement and continue to be inspired over and over again. We will just have to see what new and fantastic things will come from him in the future...
